Sensors instead of barcodes - this principle allows you to identify the position of your pallets precisely, without additional operating costs. Neither do we leave anything to chance.

The relative distance travelled is determined through the interaction of distance recorders and angle sensors. Inaccuracies are ruled out by means of a laser sensor mounted on the forklift. Unnoticed by the forklift driver, G-TRACK regularly calibrates itself when passing beneath precisely laid out reference strips on the ceiling of the warehouse. Pressure and shift sensors detect when a load has been picked up or set down, as well as identify the current position of the pallets on the fork. A further sensor determines the height within the storage area and thus the three-dimensional storage position. The information is matched online with the digital warehouse map stored in the system. This means that three-dimensional warehouse management is now also possible in block storage areas.

This full position monitoring allows you to track each pallet until it is loaded onto the truck, guaranteeing error-free picking and loading. In addition, G-TRACK even allows you to create a loading plan of the truck. This means that, used in combination with a warehouse management system, you quite incidentally carry out a permanent paper-free inventory control.

Identify the position of your forklifts in outdoor storage areas much more accurately than with conventional satellite positioning. LOCANIS G-TRACK detects the position of your forklifts to within a metre using several base stations calibrated to the area. The information is compared online with the digital warehouse map stored in the system. This allows you to easily identify the storage locations of bulky goods or containers and makes time-consuming barcode scanning unnecessary. In addition, a weight plausibility check of the goods which have been picked up is carried out using a pressure sensor.
